Privacy Policy

This policy covers businessanalystsurvivalguide.com. There are no visitor accounts anywhere on this site — every template, cheat sheet, and guide is free to download with nothing to sign up for. The only sign-in on the site is for the site owner, to manage its content.

Download counting

When you download a template, the site records that a download happened so we can see which templates are useful and protect downloads from bots. It does this with a one-way hash of your IP address that changes every day — not your actual IP address, and not anything that identifies you personally. This hash can't be reversed back into your IP address or linked to you across days.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies for visitors. The admin area uses Clerk to sign in the site owner, which sets a session cookie for that purpose — this only applies to the owner signing in to manage content; visitors never encounter it.

Advertising

No ads currently run on this site. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated first to describe what any ad provider collects.

Donations

Donations are handled entirely by Buy Me a Coffee. This site never receives, stores, or processes any payment or donor financial information — that happens on Buy Me a Coffee's own platform, under their own privacy policy.

Where this runs

The site is hosted on Vercel, with Turso for its database and Cloudflare R2 for file storage. The admin area is authenticated through Clerk. None of these services receive anything from visitors beyond standard web request data (like an IP address) needed to serve the page.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children, and doesn't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will appear on this page with a new date above.
